Universal Monsters Online is a browser based, free-to-play MOBA game that features iconic monters that you've seen in T.V. and comics like Dracula and Wolf Man. Universal Monsters Online is already at closed beta, and is still now accepting players that sign-up on their site.
During this closed beta phase, players can choose to be a Legendary Monster like Dracula, Gill-man(Creature from the Black Lagoon, Wolf man, Frankenstein's Monster and also Bride of Frankenstein. Pretty cool eh? More monsters would be added soon.
Though you are playing monsters you are still required to cooperate with you teammates in-order to to survive and defeat the town's villagers, zombies and turrets.
Like other MOBA games besides LoL and DOTA -- this games is highly competetive. It still needs more improvement though. Some of the downsides this game I got through are:
- There is no item shop
- Not so cool User Interface.
- Slow loading when game is starting, it usually takes 3-8 minutes(and that's a wasted time to wait).
- Character skills are very simple and quite boring.
- Not fully optimized, I can play Assassins Creed Revelation on my pc, but this game still lags especially in Fullscreen mode.
I know it's still on CBT, but if they don't fix this and things got worst, they probably won't have enough players to to test this game and give feedback for further improvement. But I still recommend you to try this game for your own judgement.
